Erika Zsidó and Gábor Matolcsy has prepared a foto collection on Debrecen and Oradea as part of their cross-border pair activity at the training of the Communication without Borders Plus (CBP) project. The photos were so good, that we decided to organise an exhibition of those. The opening of the exhibition was on 6th March at the youth centre of Debrecen and it can be seen there till 18th March. After that the photos will be exhibited in Oradea.
About the exhibition from the point of view of the artists:
When we take photos of famous buildings, we usually show them from a general perspective. We make sure that nothing is missing from our composition. This series of photos is a reaction to the stereotyped point of view, which is the result of the routine works. Less is often more, so we focused on smaller details of famous sights of Debrecen (Hungary) and Oradea (Romania). We believe these details have their own meanings as well. Our aim was to help you to explore these well known places and buildings from a different viewpoint and from a different aspect.
